
In its famous Industry Day celebration, the Federation of Industries of the State of Ceará presented the FIEC Industrial Merit Medal and the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) Order of Industrial Merit Medal. Industrialists, businesspeople, politicians and personalities from the state and the country attended the ceremony that took place on the evening of Thursday (09.05) at La Maison Coliseum, in the capital of Ceará.
In addition to the honorees, the following were present on the stage alongside the president of FIEC, Ricardo Cavalcante: the Governor of the State of Ceará, Elmano de Freitas; the Vice-Governor of Ceará, Jade Romero; the Vice-Mayor of Fortaleza, Élcio Batista; the President of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Ceará, State Deputy Evandro Leitão; the President of the Municipal Chamber of Fortaleza, Gardel Rolim; the President of the Court of Auditors of the State of Ceará, Rholden Queiroz; and the President of Banco do Nordeste do Brasil (BNB), Paulo Câmara.
Seven important names from the industrial scene in Ceará and the country, nominated in 2023 and 2024, received the award. Last year’s winners were: Aline Telles Chaves, Cristiano Peixoto Maia and Roberto Pessoa, who joined the list of recipients of the FIEC Industrial Merit Medal, along with Mário Araripe, Deusmar Queirós and Lourival Tavares. They received the highest award in the industry of Ceará, while the CNI Industrial Merit Medal for the year 2024 went to Ricardo Steinbruch.
All of the honorees, who are references in their respective segments, have success stories in the industry. They have contributed greatly throughout their careers to the growth and development of the State of Ceará and Brazil. Here is why they were honored with this honor.
