Innovation, entrepreneurship and socio-environmental commitment are characteristics that define the Telles Group. Five generations mark the history of the oldest company operating in Brazil, maintained by the same family for more than a century and a half.
It all started in 1843 with the arrival of the Portuguese to Brazil, who brought with him a ceramic still with which, already installed in the city of Maranguape, he began the production of sugar cane spirit in 1846, on a farm in the region.
Agribusiness
Ceará Mirim Agroindustrial is one of the most modern ethanol plants in the country. Installed in the municipality of Ceará-Mirim (RN), the company is highly mechanized and automated.
Drinks industry
With a history in the Ceará market spanning almost three decades, Naturágua is one of the leading brands in sales and the champion of consumer preference for its high quality, evidenced by the lightness and purity of its mineral water.
Natucoco, one of the best-known coconut water brands in the country, has been part of Naturágua, one of the seven companies in the Telles Group, since 2022. Absolute leader in the natural isotonic drinks market in the state of Ceará and the Northeast region.
Packaging industry
Opened in 1992 in the Aquiraz region with entry through Pindoretama (CE), Santelisa Embalagens – one of the seven companies that make up the Telles Group – is a pioneer in Ceará in the production of packaging from recycled cardboard scraps.
Cutting-edge technology, high quality and sophisticated design are the distinguishing features of PET and PE bottles produced by Yplastic since 1996, focusing on the main markets in the North and Northeast of the country.
Services
The ethanol distributor Ypetro is located in an area of around 26 thousand square meters, in Maracanaú. The station receives ethanol produced at Grupo Telles plants through its own unloading system from its tank trucks.
