Ceará Mirim Agroindustrial is one of the most modern ethanol plants in the country. Located in the municipality of Ceará-Mirim (RN), the highly mechanized and automated company focuses on the production of hydrated ethanol for sale in various markets across the Northeast, through the processing of sugarcane.
With a distillery capable of producing 300 thousand liters of ethanol per day by processing 3,300 tons/day, the plant has an installed capacity to grind 510 thousand tons per harvest. The company has an area of more than 8 thousand hectares, of which about 3 thousand are dedicated to sugarcane cultivation, and it also works with more than 130 outsourced producers. Its robust agricultural infrastructure, equipped with machinery and equipment, enables the vast majority of its operations to be fully mechanized.
The company continuously invests in improving its agricultural and industrial facilities, aiming to make them more efficient and productive, while also encouraging partnerships with regional suppliers and stimulating the growth of the entire production chain.
Ceará Mirim Agroindustrial is certified in the RenovaBio program by the ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) for the issuance of Decarbonization Credits (CBIOs) and their commercialization in the market.
