In the paper packaging market, Santelisa excels through its manufacturing capacity, energy self-sufficiency, automated technology, and use of 100% recycled materials to produce corrugated paper boxes.
Inaugurated in 1992 in the Aquiraz region with access through Pindoretama (CE), Santelisa Embalagens—one of the seven companies that make up Grupo Telles—is a pioneer in Ceará in the production of packaging from recycled paper pulp. Its manufacturing unit has an installed capacity of 70 tons per day of 100% recycled paper pulp, effectively contributing to the preservation of local and regional forests.
With a daily production capacity of 100 tons of cartons, the company currently supplies more than 5,000 clients in the North and Northeast regions. Energy self-sufficient, it houses the largest private solar energy plant in the country.
With a robust ESG policy and a strong commitment to socio-environmental issues, Santelisa is the first company in Ceará to hold the Forest to Cradle and Green Seal certifications—granted to companies that use over 90% recycled material in their production, contributing to environmental preservation and CO2 reduction on the planet. Additionally, the company is internationally certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which ensures responsible forest management, governance, and sustainability throughout its production chain from end to end.
Recognized in 2022 by the Great Place To Work (GPTW) consultancy as one of the best companies to work for, and certified under ISO 9000, Santelisa continuously pursues innovative projects that employ ecologically sustainable technology to enhance its production processes.
