With headquarters in Maracanaú, CE, the distributor commercializes fuels and offers storage services. In the bases of RN and PE, the focus is on distribution, ensuring safety and reliability for gas stations and large consumers.
Since 2015, Ypetro—a fuel distribution company of Grupo Telles—has stored and distributed ethanol, gasoline, and biodiesel from its unit in Maracanaú, in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza (CE), covering an area of 26,000 m², as well as from outsourced locations in Guamaré (RN), 173 km from Natal, and Suape (PE), 34 km from the capital of Pernambuco.
With strategic locations, the company’s three bases operate using cutting-edge technology and rigorous safety protocols. All of them receive petroleum-derived fuels and ethanol produced at the Group’s plants and from across the country, via their own discharge systems from tanker trucks, along with vertical storage capacity of 14,000,000 liters.
For fuel handling, there is a state-of-the-art loading system that ensures complete safety throughout the unloading and loading process. Equipped with connection hoses for trucks, the system provides protection against static electricity, as well as electrical installations and equipment tested for explosion-proofing.
Safety is further reinforced by a fire protection and suppression system, with a technical reserve of 590,000 liters of water, which includes a modern and efficient foam cannon system and lightning protection, certified and compliant with the standards of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), Semace (Superintendency of the Environment of Ceará), the Ceará Fire Department, and the Secretary of Infrastructure and Urban Control of Maracanaú, as well as the respective state bodies in Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Norte.
Among Ypetro’s clients are gas stations, large individual consumers, transporters, agricultural and logistics companies, in addition to its own supply network that operates in the North and Northeast regions of the country.
