When encountering nature and finding leisure, fun and adventure in the 173 hectares of iPark Complexo Turístico, it is an invitation for visitors who wish to venture into more than 30 outdoor activities.
The largest open-air adventure park in Ceará, iPark is located in the municipality of Maranguape, 30 km from Fortaleza (CE). Inaugurated in 2000, the tourist complex and unique destination in Ceará is for those seeking to interact with nature and enjoy a series of attractions and outdoor leisure activities.
Surrounded by trails and lakes, amid the biodiversity of a preserved forest, iPark features an incomparable infrastructure for practicing adventure sports and activities distributed across a large green area of 173 hectares.
With an average of 15,000 visitors in the months of July, December, and January, and 6,000 during the low season, the complex is a centuries-old property that was the first distillery of the Telles family, founded by Grupo Telles S.A., and today includes a mansion built in 1851 that houses the family museum.
In addition to this historical attraction, there are dozens of activities designed for visitors’ enjoyment, such as aquaball, tree climbing, high jump, natural swimming pool, ponies and children’s zipline, wakeboard, stand up paddle, wall climbing, mini-farm, as well as bike rides and carriage rides in the afternoon, plus rafts and pedal boats on the lake.
Other highlights of iPark are: the largest double zip line in the North and Northeast, with 850 meters in length, the Big Tonel, recognized by the Guinness Book in 2003 as the largest wooden barrel in the world, with capacity to store 374 thousand liters of cachaça, and the Artisanal Mill, where it is possible to follow a simulation of the cachaça manufacturing process and experience the history of Ceará’s cachaça production.
Visitors to the complex enjoy complete security and infrastructure that includes a regional restaurant, snack bar, medical clinic, rest area, and a large parking lot.
